Pareidolia è l’illusione subcosciente, che tende a ricondurre a forme note oggetti o profili (naturali o artificiali) dalla forma casuale. È la tendenza istintiva e automatica a trovare strutture ordinate e forme familiari in immagini disordinate.
L’installazione all’entrata del campeggio prevede una struttura di alluminio, composta da tre livelli, rivestita da teli sovrastampati con frammenti del Castello, fregi, modanature, porte e finestre che raccontano l’eccezionale patrimonio storico-architettonico della Villa. Questo posizionamento vuole consegnare ai partecipanti del festival una porzione fondamentale del luogo che li ospita. La sovrapposizione delle immagini crea un effetto psichedelico dato dalle trasparenze dei teli, facendo confluire, in un’unica immagine, i colori desaturati che riprendono la cromia del paesaggio estivo, momento in cui si svolge il festival. La struttura colorata di viola riprende la palette del Festival di quest’anno, creando un contrasto con i colori delle stampe.
Pareidolia is the subconscious illusion, which tends to trace randomly shaped objects or profiles (natural or artificial) to known shapes. It is the instinctive and automatic tendency to find orderly structures and familiar shapes in cluttered images. The installation at the entrance to the camp provides an aluminum structure, consisting of three levels, covered with sheets overprinted with fragments of the Castle, friezes, moldings, doors and windows that tell the story of the Villa's exceptional historical and architectural heritage. This placement is intended to deliver to the festival participants a key portion of the place that hosts them. The superimposition of the images creates a psychedelic effect given by the transparencies of the sheets, bringing together, in a single image, the desaturated colors that echo the color scheme of the summer landscape, a time when the festival takes place. The purple-colored structure echoes the palette of this year's festival, creating a contrast with the colors of prints
